Valentine's Day E-Cards
Background
Valentine’s Day is a time for love, & to the folks at G-Que BBQ, a love of smoked meats! To celebrate this feel-good holiday, I created a series of BBQ-themed Valentine’s e-cards to showcase G-Que’s tasty offerings to BBQ lovers far & wide on social media.
Process
I wanted the e-cards to mix modernity with the vintage stylings of old-fashioned Valentine’s cards. In order to achieve this, I used cardstock paper textures & digital brushes that mimicked hand-drawn elements, while incorporating modern imagery with bold colors using photos from G-Que.
Outcome
Creating these designs provided the growing franchise with holiday-themed branded social media content that put G-Que’s tasty BBQ on display. Presenting the content in the form of an e-card provided followers with a reason to share the post with a friend, thus boosting the content’s engagement rate.
